Workout to Christian Music Playlist

Christian Exercise MusicMusic moves us. It motivates us. Why not let your motion be motivated by some soul-stirring Christian music artists? There’s obviously more to it than organs and hymns of course!

Studies show listening to music during workouts can help distract you (making you less aware of your own exertion thereby keeping you from stopping short of your abilities). It puts you in a zone, helps you keep pace with the beat, and just makes you feel happier.

Here’s a list, in no particular order, (with direct links to iTunes) of some of my favorite songs to play during a workout. Some old; some new.

Perhaps my favorite discovery is Beckah Shae (at the bottom of this list). I was introduced to her music during my days teaching Body & Soul. Love her sound. Such a good beat to move to!

  1. Love to workout to great music! I can’t wait to try out some of your favorite tunes! Shackles (Mary Mary version) is my favorite workout song. The only song I can think of right now is Steal My Show by TobyMac.

    1. yeah, I usually go with the Mary Mary version too… As I was linking the songs, I saw Mandisa did it too. 🙂 And as you can see from the list, TobyMac is a big hit in our family!
